How to create custom Post designs I can create new Posts within

Hi there - I am fairly new to the wordpress platform, so please excuse me if I am missing something.

I would like to create multiple Post designs, similar to a Page, but for Posts (so, dynamic).

I realize this should be under “Format” when editing a post.

How do I customize the appearence of the “Standard” format with PRO?

Or, do I need to create a new format? If I do that, how do I edit the appearence with PRO? and to be sure, will this translate across all posts I choose to be of said new format?

Please advise the best way to do this.

Correct me if I am wrong, it seems that you want to have a custom Post Format:

If that is the case it needs custom development which is outside of our support scope as it is not related to our theme and it is a core WordPress feature. We can help you by giving you the correct direction for your research. I suggest that you follow this Google search.

Having said that I think you can simply Use the Pro editor to add whatever layout that you want and then save it as a template. Then in each case, you can retrieve that template and continue your work on each individual post.
