How to create article page on Ethos 3

Hello
Here is my website :
http://www.le-filrouge.com/

I would like to create an article page

But the problem is that I don’t know how to synchronize the articles to this page.

And second question, in my home page, there is a category called “Derniers articles” which means “Last articles”, do you know can I synchronize the last articles in my homepage with Ethos 3 ?

Thank you very much.

Hi There,

For the #1, please navigate to Settings > Reading > Front page displays > select A static page (select below) > then set your Front Page and Blog Page(the blog page should be your article page):

For the #2, you can try with this recent posts shortcode:

Hope it helps

Hello
At first, thank you for the answers

http://www.le-filrouge.com/
In the home page, in the category “Nos derniers articles” I’ve added the code [recent_posts count=“3”]
But as you can see the 3 articles code doesn’t take all width of the page…
Maybe I have to change some css ?
How can I do that ?

Thanks

Hi,

Upon checking, Ican see you have added your recent posts inside a one third column.

Please add it another row with 1 column.

Thanks

At first, thank you.

It is working very well for the 3 articles code however I tried to put 6.
It appears but I looks like messy.
I would like to put
first line : 1-2-3 last articles
second line: 4-5-6 last articles

I would like also to put a preview of the articles, if it is possible.

Thanks

Hello There,

Thanks for updating in! Please be advised that the recent post element will only display up to 4 items. In your case, please make use of two recent posts elements and display 3 items in each element. You can make use of the offset option to make sure that both elements will display 3 different items.

Excerpts or preview of the articles is not available in the recent posts element. You will have to modify the element before you can display it. And again, before you can modify the element, what you are trying to accomplish requires a template customization, we would highly to suggest that you use a child theme. This allows you to make code changes that won’t be overwritten when an X update is released. After your child theme is setup, please review how we recommend making template changes in Customization Best Practices.

After having to set up a child theme, you can then follow the suggestion from this thread: https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/recent-posts-shortcode-change-image-size-add-excerpt/1517/2

Hope this helps.
