How to add a Revolution slider above the Nav-bar but below the Top-bar?

I am trying to add a Revolution slider above my navigation but below the top bar with my social icons. I am using Integrity and I have created a child theme.

I found some code here but I feel it may be incomplete steps or old:

I made a wp-header.php file and a _navbar.php file and uploaded them to the child theme but I am unsure what to do now?

Thanks for writing in.

If you are using pro, you can easily do it with Header Builder.

If you are using X theme, you can select slider above masthead in your page settings.

You can also follow this thread below on how to add slider using function.php.
