How do i customize header and navbar.php in Child theme?

Hi

I want to add my code socila media and email to the file _navbar.php and change change the order of Logo and h1 tag description in _brand.php. The files are in legacy folder… I am working on X version 5.1.0.

I created the child theme following the instruction on https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/customizations-best-practices/205 "Overwriting Output via Child Themes "but i can’t make this work… The only way to do it right now is to modify the parent theme but i don’t want to do this… I need to use child theme!

Thanks for writing in.

In this case, we need to check your FTP how it is setup why it is not working. Please share us your admin credentials and FTP credentials so we could check your setup closer don’t forget to set it in secure note
