This is first time I am using the PRO theme and content header interface and every other customization tool is very complicated and least intutive !
I cannot find anywhere/ any place to edit the primary text of the default side bar navigation.
Please direct me to the documentation of pro theme !!!
Hi There,
You can’t edit the sample menu. You need to create/edit your own menu under Appearance > Menus
After you created your Menu, assign that to your Navigation Inline element

I was wondering why would the options allow me to change the fonts and size and capitalize etc etc on the text but not allow me to change the text.

Do you mean the actual text of the navigation links?
If so, you will need to have an active menu in WP Admin > Appearance > Menus that will be set to the navigation element in the Pro header.
You can then edit the text link for the menu settings:
