Homepage Content Not Working, No WP Admin Bar

I used the Gym theme to build my site.
After everything was built, I noticed the homepage didn’t work any longer and it also didn’t show the WP Admin bar at the top, when logged in. If you link through to one of the other pages, the page is fine and the Admin bar is back.

I proceeded to roll back to a previous version of the homepage only to find out WP revisions and Cornerstone aren’t synced…GEEEEEEZZZ!!!

I started building another homepage only to run into the same issue…AGAIN!!!

PLEASE HELP ME.

Hi There,

We need to see the issue directly. Please provide your site URL, wordpress admin and FTP credentials on a secure note. For the mean time, please make sure that you are using latest version. See this: https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-version-compatibility/195

Hi there,

The threads are getting closed after 10 days of inactivity. As this is a very old one I suggest that you open up a separate thread with the detailed information to follow up the case.

Before doing anything you need to have a complete backup of your website and then follow the steps below:

  1. Ensure everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list here. Please follow the best practices when updating your theme and plugins. Click here for more information.
  2. If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.
  3. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third-party plugins, and see if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
  4. Remove custom CSS and Javascript from the options or Child Theme and test the case.
  5. Reset your htaccess file by renaming it to .htaccess-bak. Then in WP Admin Menu, go to Settings > Permalinks and just click the Save Changes button.
  6. Increase the PHP Memory Limit of your server. Click here for more detailed information and how to increase the PHP memory limit.

Get back to us with the result of the steps above in the new thread that you will open up.

Thank you.
