Hide Categories in Post Meta (Ethos)

Hello there,

I’m using Ethos.

I want to keep: author and # comments
I want to get remove: categories and date

I have figured out how to remove the date by using this code:

.p-meta span:nth-child(2) {
display:none;
}

However I cannot figure out how to remove the categories without also removing the author.

Please assist and thank you for the help.

Hi,

To achieve that, kindly remove the css you have added.

Then add this in your child theme’s functions.php

By adding that code in your child theme, it will override the default ethos meta data.

I would like to do something similar for the ethos stack post meta information, but I just want to drop the category information.

So I’d like to have “by [author] / [date] / [comments]”
