Help with your child theme

Hi there
I have attached a screen shot to show you the problem I am having.
I have installed your x- child theme twice now.
some how first time I managed to get passed the prompt then it took me straight into Editor from the wordpress dashboard under Appearance…however the wordpress editor is now different and whenever I type a prompt will pop up with options ie type !im…the prompt will automatically show the word" !important".
So I carried on using the editor for the child theme.
I found out that half way through building the site that the home page was reverting back to a post page. If you check I have stipulated under reading on the wordpress dashboard that I want the home page to be static and not as its currently showing as a post.
Is this issue coming from the warning I get when setting up the child theme. As nothing seems to work.

How do I give you my url ?

Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? Please provide following information:

Set it as Secure Note

  • Link to your site
  • WordPress Admin username / password

Your site automatically load/redirect to https version. It is best to provide those credentials to avoid back and forth. Thank you.

thats good…have you had a look at my previous emails and answeres my original problem or am I gong to get passed onto another person like I have …3 people so far not addressing my situation

Hello There,

We cannot check your site because every time we try to login and use the credentials you have provided, we are stuck and only see this screen:

If you can provide to the username and password to get pass the “Authentication Required” that would be helpful.

I have checked your homepage and you are using a static page already. Do you want this page to be fullwidth with no sidebar?

If that is the case, you will have to edit the page and change the page template to Layout - Fullwidth. To know more about page templates in the theme, please check this out:
