HELP page wont load

Hi I have been getting this message. I deactivated all the plugins and cleared the browsing date but it still persists. “The preview was unresponsive after loading. This is most often related to a plugin conflict or aggressive page cacheing.”

PLease help.

Hey @burbina,

Clearing the browser cache might not help if the cached page is served from your server. Please also try the following possible solutions.

  1. Ensure everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list at https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-version-compatibility/195. Please follow the best practices when updating your theme and plugins. See https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-updating-your-themes-and-plugins/62 for more details.

  2. If you’re using a caching plugin, clear all caches including browser cache then deactivate your caching plugin and other optimization plugins.

  3. If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.

  4. If you’re using a child theme, switch to the parent theme and also remove any custom CSS and JavaScript globally and your page.

  5. Reset your htaccess file by renaming it to .htaccess-bak. Then in WP Admin Menu, go to Settings > Permalinks and just click the Save Changes button.

  6. Contact your host to increase your allocated memory or do it yourself by adding this code in your wp-config.php

define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' );
define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M' );

It is important that you try everything in the list that applies to your site. Only if nothing in the list helps, give us WordPress Admin and FTP access in a Secure Note.

Thanks.

Hi Christian I tried doing what you suggested but did not get the results i was looking for. If you could please help us I would appreciate it.

Hello Burbina,

Thanks for updating the thread.

Looks like you forgot to share the website URL. Please share website URL for us to take a closer look.

Thanks.

Sorry about that! http://decor8design.com

Hi Burbina,

Thank you for the URL, but I can not replicate the issue on my end. I was able to open a couple of pages in Cornerstone, is the issue happening only to a specific page? Which page?

Try using the private/incognito mode of your browser.

How to Always Start Any Browser in Private Browsing Mode.

And GoDaddy has a caching too, please flush that.

Cheers!
