I can’t reply to this thread, but will this bug ever be fixed in a future release?

Hi There,

Thank you for writing in, that “Header Edit Text disappeared” had been resolved and we don’t receive report regarding that issue (just this time).

If you don’t see the the Headline Edit Text field on your end, please do the following:

  • Ensure that you are fully up to date. WordPress, Theme, and Cornerstone (Version Compatibility)

  • Clear all the site caches (plugin, server-side, CDN, and browser’s cache) so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors. Please deactivate this caching features while we tackle this issue.

  • Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Hi @fxground,

I wanted to add a few more thoughts specific to that thread. The bug is fixed if you create a new header from the hero template. If you created your header prior to that fix, you will need to delete the headline element and add a new one in its place. Let us know if that works for you. If you’re still having trouble, I could take a look on your site if you add login credentials in a secure note. Thanks!
