Header template it is not completely customizable to the theme

Hi,

I used one of the template headers from Template Manager but i see the breadcrumbs, the blog title, the title of the categories and the title of the tags do not show.

Any idea what might go wrong?

Thanks.

Hello Petros,

Thanks for writing in! When you create the header, did you assign it to which page it will appear? Please provide us access to your site and then the name of the header so that we can take a closer look. You can post your WP credentials in a secure note in your next reply. To know how to create a secure note, please check this out: https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/how-to-get-support/288

Best Regards.

Hey Petros,

Thanks for providing us access. I checked your header-2 header and I don’t see a Breadcrumb element so I’m currently confused because you said you are seeing the breadcrumbs.

I also checked 1 of your blog posts and I saw the title and the category it was assigned to so this also added to my confusion.

Would you mind clarifying the things listed below?

  1. You said you used one of the header templates in the Template Manager. What was it and what are you expecting it would do?
  2. Give us the exact page URL that is having the issue you described. As far as I understand, you want the Blog (site?) Title, the Title (of the page?) and the categories and tags you’ve assigned to your post. Please correct me if I’m wrong. Regarding the categories and tags, there is currently no option to display them dynamically. The Dynamic Content feature of text elements currently will only display multiple terms if you specify an ID.

Thanks.

Hi Christian,

thanks for your reply. I have no issue with the “post meta”. I change the header for the entire site. After the change I do not see the title of the blog!

This also happens with the breadcrumbs, Title categories, Title tags.

I also noticed that when defining a menu on a particular page, it does not work anymore after the change header. Continues to appear the main menu which I have chosen for header.

I hope I was clear

Thanks

Hey Petros,

Thanks for the clarification. Those theme parts that you’ve mentioned are part of the Classic X Header and those get replaced by the Pro Header upon assignment. With that said, you’ll need to design and build your own Blog header.

If you need the exact classic header setup, you can follow the solution give in this similar thread: https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/category-and-archive-header-landmark/16068/2

Please just note that it requires coding and that has a potential to break your site when followed incompletely and we do not provide support for such cases so I’d recommend that you consult with a third-party developer in case you are not familiar with coding.

Thanks.
