Header Pro Not Displaying Correctly

Hi,

So I’ve just started to make a website and the header doesn’t seem to be getting the height it needs to display correctly. The menu is also not showing as the template would intend, I’ve spent a lot of time going through google, it could be something stupid that I’m doing but I feel one of you guys will be able to point me in the direction within minutes of seeing the issue.

I’ll attach a screenshot on how it’s displaying on my machine too incase it differs to yours.

Many Thanks Guys, appreciate it a tonne!!

Hi @PaulMccaff,

Thanks for reaching out.

It seems to be correct to me, the issue I’m seeing from your screenshot are misaligned elements which isn’t height related. But I couldn’t confirm any of this since your site is behind an under-construction page. Please provide your admin login credentials in the secure note and I’ll checl.

For the meantime, please check for the following first:

  1. Ensure everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list at https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-version-compatibility/195. Please follow the best practices when updating your theme and plugins. See https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-updating-your-themes-and-plugins/62 for more details.

  2. If you’re using a caching plugin, clear all caches including browser cache then deactivate your caching plugin and other optimization plugins.

  3. If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.

  4. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

  5. Remove custom CSS, Javascript and templates.

Thanks.

Hi,

I’ve removed the construction page setup, apologies for that. For this header I was using the Hero image template, so the height is quite a bit off. It’s all been freshly installed, there are only a couple of dummy pages at the moment whilst I set up a suitable header/footer.

Hello @PaulMccaff,

Thanks for providing the information. I have found out that you have rename the pro folder into pro-4 which has caused the issue. I have removed and re uploaded Pro theme to fix the issue.

Please check your site now.

Awesome!

I also had to change the folder name in the File Manager within my cPanel.

Got it sorted none the less, cheers guys!!

Much appreciated!

You’re most welcome and glad it’s okay now
