Header not appearing when child theme activated

Hi Guys,

Had a problem I’ve been working on and troubleshooting.
previously working fine with child theme activated.
Then - all headers disappear?

Reloaded the updated version. Then tried just activating the actual theme - not the child.
All headers then appeared.

I tried activating the child again and the headers disappeared once more.

For the interim, I’ve left it with the parent theme activated.

Hope you can advise what to do in the future as i want to use the child.

Hi Claire,

Have you added some customization in the child theme? We could do some check but would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? Please provide following information:

Set it as Secure Note

  • Link to your site
  • WordPress Admin username / password
  • FTP credentials

Hi Jade,

I’ve added the login credentials.
Also - once th3e child theme is working a marketing company want to add GTM tags.

Do they still need to go via public_html/wp-content/themes/x-child/framework/legacy/cranium/headers/views/global/header.php

Also do they need to add anything into the child functions.php ?
