Header Content postion once scrolled

Hi there,

I’m working on https://www.yesolution.at as far the page works nearly ok on desktop browser - content jumping is also inside - but that isn’t to much annoying.
When i scroll down and up on a ipad (landscape mode) it’s not possible to get back to the same position. Thats in my eyes a bug. After scrolling on ipad a gap of at least 40px is missing at the top and the page title seams to be glued on the navbar.
On the main page is also a video placed, because of this bug the gap between header/navbar and video is senseless huge.
I don’t want to switch to a none sticky header, because i like it that way and i wan’t to work it on every browser nicely.

As by now I invested realy serval hours looking in CSS and all settings and somehow I don’t want to go and debug JS - so help would be realy appreciated.

Thanks for the great theme and help
Georg

Hi there,

Thanks for posting in.

I tried it on m iPad and I don’t see any scrolling issues. Would you mind clarifying on how I can reproduce this issue? How about a video recording?

Thanks!

Hi!

very well, the forum board doesn’t allow video attachments, but I did upload a Video for describing the very unpleasing scrolling behavior.
As you can see in the start of the Video the IPad has by now the latest update installed. IPad type is IPad Pro 9.7".
The theme -, Wordpress -, plugin versions are all up to date.

Pretty annoying is the scrolling behavior on the page https://www.yesolution.at/kontakt/ because at the top is a picture, once scrolled down it’s not possible to reach the scrolling start point and the people on the picture are getting their head cut of. Initially the picture is nice positioned.

Looking hopefully forward to your helpful solution.

Hi there,

I am not sure why this is happening in your case. Would you please kindly play with the height of the header option in X > Launch > Options > Header:

If the setting did not change the behavior, let us check the case to see why this is happening in your environment by getting the login information. Kindly get back to us with the URL/User/Pass of your website using the Secure Note functionality of the poist.

Thank you.

Thanks for the hint, obviously i used a setting for height “102px” after removing “px” from the setting it did work fine.
Maybe the software developers can implement a detection of none numeric characters, so that others don’t make the same mistake?

Hi there,

Glad it’s okay now, and yes, it’s been on our list as feature request

Thanks!
