Header Builder Issue / Menu dissappears

Hi there,

I’m building a staging site here: https://tablebudapest.com/home-new/

1.
Thing is, I have my menu set up, and so far it was displaying correctly. However today, it just disappeared for no apparent reason. I checked in wp-menus, the li items are there. I see no reason for them not to appear. Could you have a look?

Here’s how the menu should look, and I’ll send the login details in a minute.

2.

I’m trying to achieve 3 columns with responsive same-height boxes here but I can’t seem to do it. What am I missing :slight_smile:

Thanks!

Hi @Pbalazs89,

Thanks for writing in and the details!
I can see you are using the older version of the theme and also your license is not validated.
Please validate your website and update your theme. Also please follow the below steps for a possible solution.

  1. Ensure everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list at https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-version-compatibility/195. Please follow the best practices when updating your theme and plugins. See https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-updating-your-themes-and-plugins/62 for more details.
  2. Clear all caches including browser cache then deactivate your caching plugins and other optimization plugins.
  3. If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.
  4. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
  5. Remove custom CSS, Javascript and templates.
  6. Reset your htaccess file by renaming it to .htaccess-bak. Then in WP Admin Menu, go to Settings > Permalinks and just click the Save Changes button.
  7. Contact your host to increase your allocated memory or do it yourself by adding this code in your wp-config.php
    define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' ); define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M' );
    In case the issue persists, would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? Please provide following information:
    Set it as Secure Note
  • Link to your site
  • WordPress Admin username / password
  • FTP credentials
    All the best!

Hi, I managed to fix Issue No. 1. It was a plugin conflict.

Could you have a look at issue No. 2?
Thanks!

Hi @Pbalazs89,

Thanks for updating the thread!

Please add a class to the columns that you want to be displayed with equal height then try this code in the custom JS panel:

jQuery(document).ready(function($) {
	var max = 0;
	$(".equal-column").each(function(index, el) {
		if( $(this).height() > max ){
			max = $(this).height();
		}
	});
	$(".equal-column").css('height', max);
});

Use the class equal-column to the columns.

Hope this helps.

Thanks

Thanks!

I identified that the faulty plugin that causes the nav menu to disappear is called Tickera, I would require its functionality. Do you know of this incompatibility or is it something that only I am experiencing?

I will try out the solution for No. 2. In a bit!

Hi There @Pbalazs89

Glad you were able to isolate the issue. As we do not provide support for 3rd party plugins, I would suggest you to contact the plugin developer to escalate your issue.

Thanks for understanding!
