Get the button on my homepage to link to a specific landing page

Hello,

I have an eBook on my home page and I need the button on my homepage to link to a landing page on my website so visitors can fill out a form and then get my eBook (this landing page should not be visible to the public until a visitor clicks the button on the home page and then that visitor is redirected to that landing page).

  1. I don’t understand in Cornerstone the difference between using the “button” versus the “classic button.” Please explain.

  2. What do I need to do step-by-step to get the button on my homepage to link to a specific landing page (I am not a web developer)?

Well the job of V2 button and classic button is the same. However in V2 or Button element you get more advanced options that you can use to style the button elements as per your requirement.

To link button to a specific page all that needs to be done is enter the URL of page under Link.
