Geometric Testimonials weirdness

When i create a 2 column Geometric Testimonial…it looks fine in the back end… but once published it looks all weird. Any help is appreciated. I have tried numerous fixes, all with same result. Thanks.

Hi There,

Please follow up the steps below:

  1. Ensure everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list here. Please follow the best practices when updating your theme and plugins. Click here for more information.
  2. Go to X > Settings and click on the Clear Style Cache button.
  3. Turn off the HTML minify if you’re using the cache plugins like W3 Total Cache.
  4. If you’re using a CDN(ex: CloudFlare), please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services. For the CloudFlare you also need to follow the steps below besides the developer mode: https://xthemetips.com/using-cloudflare-rocket-loader-with-x-pro-and-x5/928/1
  5. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third-party plugins, and see if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
  6. Remove custom CSS and Javascript from the options or Child Theme and test the case.
  7. Switch the X/Pro parent theme.

If you still have problems kindly get back to us with the result of the steps above and URL/User/Pass of your WordPress dashboard using the Secure Note functionality of the post to follow up the case.

Thank you.

Tried all the above, no dice. . Help!

Hi Scout,

Would you mind providing us the direct page URL so we can take a look?

What did the Geometric Testimonials author say about it? They should be able to provide you a fix for that.

Thanks,

Hello,
The author is Themeco. Here is link to the page. Thank you.

Hi There,

This is something like a custom HTML syntax error.
Please check the HTML code that you have for the testimonials and correct it.
There is some missing closing tags which can’t be seen in the editor but can visible in live page.

Or you can take help from the plugins author.

Thanks

Ok i will check …how do i contact author? as its a ThemeCo plugin.

Hello @scout,

Thanks for updating the thread.

I checked your website and inspected the page layout in dev tools. I think with geometry you are referring to mathematical model not the plugin. I also see that you have used text element to design the layout and there seems to be some syntax error that’s causing layout issues. However, I am not quite sure which plugin you are referring too. Can you please name?

Also please share the login details in [secure note](http://id=“x-btn-navbar” class=“x-btn-navbar collapsed” ) for us to take a closer look.

Thanks.
