Is it possible to not use a stack and still use Pro for the builder and elements etc. or is it going to be possible?
I was wondering this same thing before I started using Pro. I was able to build a completely custom theme just by using the “Blank - No Container” page template. It doesn’t use any styling from the stacks as far as I can tell. Here’s some info about page templates: https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/features-page-templates/50

Stacks provide you some basic styling options to start of the website development process. At the moment one can’t completely avoid use of stacks. However, using the templates options you can select the template and also start the development process. To select a different template, please take a look at following thread.
