Front page missing background images

Hello

My site is on www.lax-a.net and I updated the X theme this morning. I have a child theme also set up.
After the update the background images are missing, if you view the site from the web archive you can see how it should look here https://web.archive.org/web/20180921024513/http://www.lax-a.net

When I edit the front page I can see that the images are still in the background for the rows (visual composer) but they are not showing on the page. Can you help me with this ?

P.S. I also can’t see any revisions in WP and I can’t figure out why that is… I have enabled them in wp-config.php just to be sure but can’t see them anyway.

Under WPBakery Page Builder Settings > General and make sure "Legacy X Integration" is enabled. You can learn more on this following page.
