Formidablepro bootsrtap modal js error

Hi. Still trying to tack down a js error which references Formidablepro’s Modal pop-up which is not functioning. Have contacted Formidablepro and indicate it’s a theme conflict which appears to be the case as the error is only thrown when running xpro - an appeared after 2.x update. This error is not thrown using WP2017. Page reference https://mysalus.org/my-home Error below

Using standard trouble shoot ing (deactivating/eleiminating other plugin conflicts and changin themes) this error is thrown by Formidablepro per the error reference link https://mysalus.org/wp-content/plugins/formidable-modal/js/bootstrap.min.js?ver=4.9.4 when running xpro child theme. When running wp2017 theme, the error is not thrown. Screenshot of page with error is attached - Running xpro theme and only Formidablepro and formidablepro bootstrap modal plugins. Aso screenshot of same page with only the two plugins active, running under wp 2017 theme.

Also - No global js in customizer. No code snippets of additions in child functions.php. No custom modal css.

Thanks for your help with this.

Hi there,

I think I already answered about this error you were mentioned. This seems to be a conflict between our theme and the plugin in question. We will surely report this to our development team but there is no guarantee for a fix as this is a conflict with a 3rd party plugin and outside of our support scope, We can not guarantee a fix due to the fact that we are not familiar with the ins and outs of the plugin.

I am sorry that the plugin developer refused to check for the cause of the issue, we will do our best on our side for sure.

Thank you for your understanding.

Ugghh. The FormidablePro Plugin woreks on wp 217 theme so they and I assume it’s not their issue but is a theme issue. Can I safely go back to pre v3 version of Xpro? There are several FFP/Xpro v 2 js issues I’m seeing, and rely on both X and FF. All worked before v2, so I am thinking my only solution is to roll back?

Thoughts?

Hello There,

You should be able to revert back with the Pro theme 1.2.7. Simply download it from your dashboard (https://theme.co/apex/dashboard) and manually upload it into your theme’s folder. You can check out how you can do manual updates from this page: https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-updating-your-themes-and-plugins/62

Useful tip: Please delete the pro (latest version) first before uploading the Pro 1.2.7.

Hope this helps.
