Why why why do I constantly find myself working on a footer, saving it, working on it some more. And then suddenly the footer is completely empty and I have to recreate it from scratch? This has happened to me across multiple sites, with multiple versions of the Pro theme.

I am really sorry about the issues you are facing with Pro Theme footer.
As there are multiple licences in your account it’s difficult for me to take a closer look at the website setup. In that regards please try out following solutions and let us know the outcome:
- Ensure everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list here. Please follow the best practices when updating your theme and plugins. Click here for more information.
- Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third-party plugins, and see if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
- Increase the PHP Memory Limit of your server. Click here for more detailed information and how to increase the PHP memory limit.

Thanks for providing the information. I have duplicated your backup footer and edited it. I added some elements in it, saved the changes and closed the tab. And then I went again and edited the footer back again. I have temporarily assign in one of the page to test it out. Again, I have edited the footer over and over yet I could not replicate the issue that you are having. I would recommend that you clear your browser cache first and then test your site again. If you can test it in Chrome Incognito mode, that would also help.
