Footer no longer appears

I am using Pro Footer Builder. I noticed today that my footer no longer is appearing on any page. When I open Pro and go to the footer. The footer is still listed but when I click on the footer nothing is there and the preview window shows nothing.

Hello There,

Thanks for posting in!

I’ve done some checking and it seems that your site is redirecting to a different domain name. Please see the secure note.

Please ensure that your WP dashboard url is the same as the Site URL in Settings > General. If you have moved the site, please make sure that you properly migrated it. Please check out this page:

Please let us know how it goes.

The development server was http://8f4.f2d.myftpupload.com/. GoDaddy is hosting our site and migrated it from the development site to our actual site URL https://stlashi.org . The entire site was built using PRO so I am not how this article effect the loss of the footer. I looked in Settings. General and there is no reference to the development site.

Hi,

There could still be some data in the database with the old url which invalidates PRO Footer data.

Try to install this third party plugin

Then do a search and replace.

Replace http://8f4.f2d.myftpupload.com/ with https://stlashi.org

Don’t forget to create full backup of your site before doing it.

Thanks

Just to clarify the footer was working fine for almost two months before it disappeared. We had already run that utility prior to your suggesting it. I ended up restoring it from a previous backup and then went through and verified all of the images were pointing to the same domain.

I do have another issue with the footer. The footer displays correctly in Chrome and Firefox; however, it does not in Microsoft Edge or Internet Explorer.

This Chrome.

This is Edge and Explorer

Do have any suggestions on what may be causing this and how to fix it?

Hi there,

It’s due to flex layout in IE, would you mind providing your login credentials in a secure note? I like to apply some changes and test it in IE. It’s just that my IE inspector is not working well on your site.

Thanks!

Thanks for the input

Hi,

Thank you for providing your login credentials.

I went ahead and fix it by setting your text element maximum column to 1

Kindly check in your end.

Thanks
