Can you confirm whether the Font Awesome font-weight issue (as flagged here and here) is resolved with the new version of X and Pro? It’s not mentioned in the bugfix list.

It’s not a bug, the new FontAwesome icons are redesigned to have thicker icons. The 400 would work unless it’s not supported by the browser. You can compare it here

This isn’t a bug or theme restriction but by the font library itself.

The fact that CSS had to be added would also suggest it’s a bug.

I’m sorry for any confusion here. I can there is bug affecting certain icons. I mistakenly overlooked this in a conversation which is why Rad said it’s not a bug - although it is true that the reason things changed so much was due to Font Awesome making all the icons thicker. The icon will still be thicker than the original Font Awesome version 4 design.
This has been fixed and will be part of the point release going out to manual updates today.
