Flickering texts in Safari

Since today I noticed a flickering in the text in the bottom of the home page of https://cburgcollege.nl

I did not notice it before. We do not notice this in other browsers. only in Safari for the Mac. Any idea what causes the flickering and how to solve it? We work with the X-theme PRO and Cornerstone on this page.

Hi Jeroen,

I’ve checked your website on Safari 11.1 on macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 and I couldn’t see any text flickering on the bottom of your website:
CloudApp

Could you please share a screencast showing this issue? also, upon checking your website I can see you are using an old version of Pro theme 1.2.7, please update the theme to the latest stable version following this guide:

Thanks.

Thank you Alaa,
Also after updating plugins, wp and theme, still flickering fonts. See screen flow movie: https://www.dropbox.com/s/difhhf811khq5n8/ScreenFlow-cburg.mp4?dl=0

Hi there,

Does this happen on other devices too? We tried and we’re getting the same view which isn’t flickering. And based on your video, it looks like a display issue (like in windows if the graphics card isn’t working properly and rendering result to small flickers).

Thanks!

It happens on two different iMacs with Retina Screen and one Macbook Air connected to a Thunderbolt Mac screen (not Retina). So on three Macs…

Hello There,

I am another staff checking in. I can confirm that this is happening in Safari on Mac. Does this happen in any other page or just in your homepage? I am guessing that this only happens when the grid is added to a page. Could you please duplicate the homepage in Cornerstone and in this duplicate, remove the grid and do another round of test. If the flickering disappear, it could that the grin skin you are using is the cause of the issue.

Please let us know how it goes.
