Flashing screen when going down to custom footer

On some of my pages, the screen is flashing when going down to the footer.

You can see this on all the pages except the home page and services, which is a bit weird.

Hi @Moonworks,

Thank you for reaching out to us. I believe it’s happening due to your footer setup. Try this, inspect your Footer bar and turn on the Content Scrolling option (see screenshots)

Let us know how this goes!

Thanks for the reply, but I don’t see that bit.

Everything else, but not that.

Hey @Moonworks,

Sorry for the confusion. Content Scrolling would only be available for bar’s with fixed height.

Your footer bar’s height was set to auto so Content Scrolling does not apply to you.

The reason why this happens is that your WPBakery Page Builder built content has a minimum height of 91.0226vh and the content of the pages where this issue happens is short or does not exceed the screen size. Try viewing your site in a Full HD monitor and you’ll see that all your pages will have this issue.

Since you’re using WPBakery Page Builder natively though, we can’t point you to what setting is responsible for that minimum height. Please note that we are not experts in terms of using other page builders. Though WPBakery Page Builder is bundled in our themes, we only can handle the Legacy X Integrated elements. You can read more about the VC bundled plugin at https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/extension-visual-composer/76

If you can, I’d strongly recommend using Cornerstone or the Pro Content Builder.

Thanks.

I’ve now changed over to the bundled version of Visual Composer.

Hello @Moonworks,

To better assist you with this issue, would you mind providing us access to your site so that we can check your settings? Please create a secure note with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password

To know how to create a secure note, please check this out: https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/how-to-get-support/288

Thanks.

It’s ok. I thought the best way to sort it would be to add a bit extra to the footer, sorting out the minimum height issue.

Okay, great news!
