Can I somewhat tell to the Classic Resent Post to show only posts of some category?

Thanks for writing in! There are several possible options that you can try. One method is to use recent posts shortocode. Please refer to our recent posts shortcode with categories here (http://demo.theme.co/integrity-1/shortcodes/recent-posts/).
The other option would be to use either The Grid plugin or Essential Grid plugin to display your posts. You can refer to the documentation below.
