Few little questions about the Ethos theme

Hey team,

After I passed the learning curve everything has been going great.

I do have a few questions and I’m not sure if you would need some sort of access to my website or something, because it’s not live at the moment. I have a “coming soon” plugin enabled while I work on everything from the backend.

My Questions are:

1. How to completely disable Uber Menu on mobile? Right now its messing everything up. I would love to keep it for desktop only and revert back to my original mobile menu for tablets and phones.

2. There is black space underneath the content in my Rev slider, its still inside the frame though. When you scroll down it goes away. Any idea how to fix this?

Also is there any easy way to change the empty category archive page from saying “nothing found here go back to the homepage to try again” to something else?

Hi There,

1.) Got to Main Ubermenu Configuration > Integration > Enable Disable UberMenu on Mobile

2.) We need to see the black space directly. Since you do have coming soon, please share the following on a secure note

• Site URL
• Wordpress Username
• Wordpress Password
• Page URL where the issue exists

3.) Please check this file: \wp-content\themes\x\framework\views\global\ _content-none.php
Copy that file on the same folder on your child theme. Create the folder if it doesn’t exist. Then customize the message

I already went in my settings and did what you said, but when i click the phone view while editing through x, Uber menu is still active and messes everything up.

How would I go about retrieving this file to edit? ( i am still a newbie )

Hi there,

It’s a plugin and you can’t edit it through file. Would you mind providing your site’s URL and admin login credentials on a secure note? I like to test it as well, can’t provide further recommendation since we’re not sure how it currently behaves in your installation.
