Above all the items in my portfolio, i like to set a featured image like i did with all the other pages. As you can see in the image, noting is showing on the portfoliopage.

That is not possible using the Portfolio Page Template. You will either need to use the Essential Grid or The Grid plugin so you can can add elements like an image on top of your portfolio grid or listing.
