Feature Request - Column Animation

Hi,

I see in the forum that the fade animation has been removed. I also see that you can add a Classic Section by clicking “ctrl” and pressing “classic section” BUT the classic columns don’t allow for an image background. I know I can apply css to give it an image as a background but that’s not great practice for quick changes down the road. And the Classic Section is clunky and I worry about passing it off to a client and confusing them.

For the love of web designers add back the animation asap. Even Divi has animations and we all know Pro is way better than Divi… Please don’t make me use Divi…

Thank you for writing in, regretfully, the new Column doesn’t have the fade effect option, If you want to use the fade effect, you can use the Classic ROW as default child which contains the Classic Column, you can follow the instruction provided here.

We are planning on adding the feature but in a different way. We’re going to build a way to add fade and transition controls to all elements. For example, instead of an entire column, you could fade just a button. Or maybe you want to animate in an entire row? The new system will also allow for hover state changes to be applied to different elements. It will most likely be a new set of controls under the “Customize” tab.

Unfortunately, there is no ETA about this. But as soon as we have a timeframe we will provide information on our changelog page.

+1 for this feature request to come back in, the latest update of PRO is a massive improvement, but a bummer to see the fade option removed.

Looking forward to the new updates when they come (hint, SOON PLEASE )
