Facebook Embeds not working

Hi there,

I am running into an issue on one of my sites - the record FB live videos, then embed them into the portfolio system. For some reason, a few of the videos that they uploaded the same way as always, aren’t working. They are getting this error message: https://www.facebook.com/theriver.church.3/videos/306606023587728/

The FB page is set to Public (which I had read on the FB side of things to make sure that was done). I am getting the embed code from the FB post, then paste it into the portfolio: https://prnt.sc/nl5afl; https://prnt.sc/nl5bdq; https://prnt.sc/nl5afl

This is the site we are having the issues on: https://currenttolife.com

Any thought?

Thank you for a very detailed post information.

When using a video in a portfolio item, please ensure that you have inserted the video embed code in the space provided in the Video Portfolio Item Settings as shown below:

​To assist you better with this issue, would you mind providing us the url of your site with login credentials so we can take a closer look?

To do this, you can create a secure note with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password

Please be informed that this is beyond our control. It seems that Facebook itself does not allow to embed this live video in your site. You might need to check this out:

Yes, that is the issue. Weird thing was that they were working at one point, then they stop.
Thank you for digging around. I will look more on the FB side of things then. Appreciate it!

Thanks for understanding. This issue seems to be related to Facebook Live video embedding as you can see here (https://github.com/facebook/php-graph-sdk/issues/1103).

Also try following this route and see if that helps (https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/embedded-video-player/).
