Extension Versions

Can someone tell me what the supported versions of the plugin list below are available at this point:

  1. UberMenu 3 - The Ultimate WordPress Mega Menu
  2. Slider Revolution
  3. Modern Events Calendar
  4. LayerSlider WP
I would appreciate if someone could simply reply with the version numbers so I know if there is something I need to do on my side to get them up to supported versions. Although I believe I am up to date, there are just too many items that are not at their latest (which makes me nervous).

Thanks

Hey @Fused_Integrated_Mar,

You can find all the list of the latest supported versions here:

Hope this helps.

@Jade, thank you for your help!

@Jade Can you help me with one more item, I seem to have a very outdated UberMenu plugin version. While I realize I can easily delete it and reinstall it in the extensions area, my concern is that I will lose all of my work and it took me months to build the menus that power this website. https://invisioncare.com/

My question is, can I delete it and reinstall it from extensions without loosing my data?

Hey @Fused_Integrated_Mar,

The settings are preserved when an extension is re-installed however I’d highly recommend that you create a staging site. This is very useful because you can test drive any X or Pro updates in the staging area, do the customization and troubleshooting without disrupting your live site. Once everything is perfect, you can easily and flawlessly proceed the update in the live site. To know how to create a staging area, please check out these articles:

Taking a complete backup before any update is a best practice too so make sure to take a backup of your site.

After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches (if you are using WP Rocket, WP SuperCache or W3 Total Cache) when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

Hope this helps.

Great Idea!!! Don’t know why I didn’t think of that. Thank you so much for your assistance!

You’re very welcome, @Fused_Integrated_Mar. Have a great day!
