Exporting template from x pro site to cornerstone

Can I export pages created in Xpro into a website that uses cornerstone as a builder?

At the moment I am trying to upload the .tco files and it is saying they are in the wrong format. If they are, how can I change this to get my pages across?

Hello @VelocityWeb,

Thanks for writing in!

Yes, you can save the page as a page template and then export it in the Templates Manager, Pro > Templates Manager. You can then import the templates file via the X > Templates Managers and load the template while you are editing in Cornerstone.

Just make sure that you are using the latest version of the theme before doing the import/export. Could you please update to the latest versions?
Our latest versions are:

  • Pro theme 2.5.5
  • X theme 6.5.6
  • Cornerstone 3.5.5

This latest release contains fixes for several issues so be sure to check out the changelog (http://theme.co/changelog/).

Please let us know how it goes.

It is still saying your file is not properly formatted???

Note I have doent this before but something is messing with the process

Hi @VelocityWeb,

I can see what you share is the site using Cornerstone builder. Please also share the site URL and credentials of the site where you’re getting the template so we can test the process on your site. Thank you.

I did did. https://velocitywebsites.nz/

Same log in

Hi @VelocityWeb,

The same password is not working for https://velocitywebsites.nz/. Please double check.

ok I have reset that password. Can you try again

I just logged in using those credentials and I got in fine

Hello @VelocityWeb,

There is an error while you import the template:

The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.

You must increase your PHP upload max file size to at least 256MB.

Hope this helps. Please let us know how it goes.

Thanks. You were totally right. That has fixed it. Thanks You :grinning:

You’re welcome!
We’re glad we were able to help you out.
