Is there a way to export/import the footer and header from the builder in Theme Pro, in the same way it is possible for pages? I’d like to reuse the work I have doing without having to recreate everything from scratch.

In response to your question, we have a template manger that is in development that will allow you to do this. We do not have a specific ETA at the moment, but it is number 2 on our development timeline right after V2 Elements. You can find more info on this status report.
