Hi, on EVERY tested x-Theme Webseite we have created (4 on our server, 1 on external server) we ALWAYS get those 2 error messages when entering in cornerstone - here are some examples:
The preview could not load. This is most often related to a plugin conflict or aggressive page cacheing. Checking the developer console for errors could indicate what went wrong.
Origin URL: https://www.customerurl.de
** Preview URL: https://www.customerurl.de/home/?lang=en**
(customerurl was replaced for privacy reasons)
The preview was unresponsive after loading. This is most often related to a plugin conflict or aggressive page cacheing.
Origin URL: https://www.customerurl.biz
Preview URL: https://www.customerurl.biz/
(customerurl was replaced for privacy reasons)
The preview was unresponsive after loading. This is most often related to a plugin conflict or aggressive page cacheing.
Origin URL: https://digimarketing.de
Preview URL: https://digimarketing.de/ueber-uns/
in every case my WP General-URLs are set to:
https://www.customerurl.de (or biz) - like in address bar of the page on which the error occurs
or in case of our webseite:
https://digimarketing.de
I have also found some topics in the forum but nothing worked for me.
Here is what i have already tried:
- there is no caching Plugin installed / browser cache deleted
- tested it on chrome / firefox
- appears on all sites (tested 4 on our servers, one on another provider)
- PHP Core Memory Limit is set to 512MB by my server (looked up by phpinfo.php)
- i have temporarily then added this to wp-config: define( ‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘512M’ ); define( ‘WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘512M’ );
- temporarily disabled all plugins (but cornerstone)
- Child-Theme temporarily set to Main (X) Theme
- There are only some CSS changes in “Global CSS” which i also disabled temporarily*
- I don’t use any staging environment
- it occurs on sites without multilanguage and with WPML-sites
We have to edit a customer website urgently so i’d be happy to get a quick answer.
We have no such kind of errors with ThriveThemes, Divi, The7 or other Themes.
Best regards
