Ethos Stack - Blog Page template

Hey.

I am working on a site for a client (currently in staging) and I am trying to change the layout of the blog page but it just doesn’t seem to change much.

Stack is Ethos; Demo 1

The Masonary style doesn’t look like masonary instead looks just like blocks in 3 columns.

Not sure what I am doing wrong here.

Thx for your help in advance.

Hi,

Thanks for writing in!

I checked and can see that it is working.

That is how masonry looks in Ethos Stack.

The standard blog looks like this.

You might want to try Integrity stack instead

Masonry Layout - http://demo.theme.co/integrity-1/blog/

Thanks

Hi Paul -

Thanks for looking into this.

I see what you mean and I don’t want to change to the integrity stack for various reasons. I’m trying to keep the look and feel as close to the Ethos stack as possible.

  1. Could you please tell me how can I acheive this Ethos-1 blog template layout? With the image on the left, text & title on the right. With a horizontal dividing line in the middle?

  2. Also tried adding the Filter by topic to the blog page but the only thing I could do was add it as categories drop down on the sidebar.

Thanks

Hey @iDigitalise,

For #1, go to Theme Options > Blog and set the Style to Standard.

For #2, go to Theme Options > Ethos and enable Filterable Index under Blog Options and add your Category IDs separated by comma like this:

In case you don’t know how to get the Category IDs, please read this instruction.

Hope that helps.
