Estimation & Payment Forms Extension not calculating payments

Hi guys,

I’m experiencing multiple issues with the Estimation & Payment Forms Extension. Placeholder texts are missing, components aren’t saving properly, the links aren’t working as intended and it isn’t showing/adding priced items in the total/progress bar, etc. Could someone please advise me on what might be causing the problem?

Cheers,

Tom

Hi Tom,

Thanks for writing in! First of all make sure that you’re fully updated by following our version information here (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-version-compatibility/195) and update accordingly.

If you’re using a caching plugin, try purging your server cache and test your issue. Also try disabling CSS/JavaScript minifications from your caching settings.

If you’re still having issues, try disabling your 3rd party plugins and check your issue further.

If you’re using a child theme, try switching to your parent theme and see if you’re experiencing any issues with your child theme customizations.

In case if could not isolate the issue, provide us with an example page URLs to your issues so that we should be able assist you further.

Thanks!

Hi @mldarshana,

I’ve not been able to isolate the issue. Some of the steps aren’t linking to one another, despite it now showing the price on one item. It feels very glitchy at the moment. When clicking save and the form reloads, the content reverts to the old version.

Hello There,

Please follow up the steps below:

  1. Ensure everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list here. Please follow the best practices when updating your theme and plugins. Click here for more information.
  2. Go to X > Settings and click on the Clear Style Cache button.
  3. If you’re using a CDN(ex: CloudFlare), please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services. For the CloudFlare you also need to follow the steps below besides the developer mode: https://xthemetips.com/using-cloudflare-rocket-loader-with-x-pro-and-x5/928/1
  4. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third-party plugins, and see if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
  5. Remove custom CSS and Javascript from the options or Child Theme and test the case.

If you still have problems kindly get back to us with the result of the steps above and URL/User/Pass of your WordPress dashboard using the Secure Note functionality of the post to follow up the case.

Thank you.
