Essential Grid settings

Hi,

I’m using Essential Grid to show my posts. I also have the ‘Favorites’ plugin which allows users to ‘like’ posts. I’ve used a shortcode under ‘source’ , ‘text/html’ in the Essential Grid skin editor. The ‘favorites’ button appears on the front end, but nothing happens when I click on it. The plugin is meant to be compatible with Essential Grid. Do I need to tamper with the link/seo settings? Or any other settings?

Thank you so much in advance!

Hi RueNel

Thanks for getting back to me. I’ve added my login details in a secure note attached to my original post above.

Thank you!

Hello There,

I have logged in and check your skin. It turns out that you inserted invalid quotes.

I already have corrected it. Please check your grid again.

Hi RueNel

Thanks for checking - unfortunately, it now returns a blank page on the front end (mydomain.com/the-final-straw)

The page still has the Essential Grid shortcode (i checked in cornerstone)…but its just a blank page when you visit the domain in the front end…

Hi There,

I edited and saved that skin again but the issue still persists.

Please try testing a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third-party plugins, and see if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Let us know how it goes!
