Essential grid facebook not streaming video

Hi there!
The essential grid i installed in my homepage works fine with images but it´s not showing video.
Is there a way to fix this?

Hey there,

Please check for the following first:

  1. Ensure everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list at https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-version-compatibility/195

  2. Clear all caches including browser cache then deactivate your caching plugins and other optimization plugins.

  3. If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.

  4. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

  5. Remove custom CSS, Javascript and templates.

I checked all this steps and have the same problem.
Videos posted in facebook and instagram don´t show up in the feed of essential grid.
Hope you can help me with this.

Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! The video is not playing because there is a JS error on the page.

I believe this is an issue with the target origin of the video being https. I suspect it is because your site url is using http instead of https. Try changing the url of the file you are trying to embed to be https. Or change your site url and make sure to use https instead.
