Envira Gallery add ons?

Browsing the forums you indicate add ons are not included and to purchase the entire product. However, you also say that you do not provide the latest version due to compatibility issues. So we are sort of stuck between a rock and a hard place. Also, with the updated portfolio function in WordPress isnt a dumbed down version of Envira sort of pointless?

Suggestions on creating gallery albums probably one of the top feature of any website.

The bundled plugins are added as free and will fully function as the original, but some plugins have premium-feature that is only accessible by buying a separate license directly from the plugin author. It’s not our restriction, but from the plugin author itself and there is no way we can control it unless they decide to provide it.

We do provide the updates for bundled plugins, and we can’t just provide the latest version due to compatibility, and we can’t release new versions just because the plugin author released a new one. But this process has no connection with the premium features of the plugin, even if we provide the oldest or the newest, you can’t still have the premium add-ons of Envira gallery, the plugin author will not let you have it unless you buy a separate license from them.

And you could try Essential Grid plugin if you’re looking for gallery type layout with the filter like the portfolio page. And our portfolio page is intentionally made it that way, lighter with the minimal features. If you wish to implement advanced grid layout then you may always use the bundled grid plugins. Though, I may able to add your idea as a feature request for the portfolio page.
