Envira - Can't post any gallery

Hi Everyone,

I just installed xTheme PRO on a brand new website, I’m trying to create a sample gallery with Envira (which tells me I have to add a licence and I cannot dismiss it) but when I try to upload more than one photo I get the “HTTP error” and then if I submit the gallery the page goes into an “HTTP ERROR 500” page. The same page (HTTP ERROR 500) appear even if I just try to update the page without doing/changing anything.

I tried to give more memory to website through the wp-config.php but nothing changed yet.

How can I fix this?
Thank you in advance.

You’re not alone in this. Check this thread: https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/backend-inaccessible-envira-1-7-0-2-cornerstone-2-1-4-conflict/13179

Hi @Miele,

I have updated versions of Envira and Cornerstone in my test site and this issue does not happen.

500 error code is a server related error and it’s mostly caused by wrong files and folders permissions. See http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-fix-file-and-folder-permissions-error-in-wordpress/ for the correct setup.

Also do the following:

  1. Ensure everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list at https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-version-compatibility/195. Please follow the best practices when updating your theme and plugins. See https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-updating-your-themes-and-plugins/62 for more details.

  2. Uninstall Envira plugin and re-install again via Pro > Overview

  3. Clear all caches including browser cache then deactivate your caching plugins and other optimization plugins.

  4. If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.

  5. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

  6. Remove custom CSS, Javascript and templates.

@DSPORT, please do the basic troubleshooting steps above and if nothing helps, please open a separate thread and give us WP Admin and FTP access in a Secure Note there. Also post a link to this thread for reference.

Thanks.

Hi Christian,

I tried everything you listed but nothing has changed yet.
I had a look on the forum and i bumped in a topic (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/backend-inaccessible-envira-1-7-0-2-cornerstone-2-1-4-conflict/13179/13) where loads of people has my same problem, I believe you guys have a problem on your side related to your last update.

How do I proceed?

In that case, please give us access to your WordPress admin and cPanel so we could look deeper.

Thanks.

Hi Christian,

Never mind, we can close this ticket, I’m not gonna go for Envira anymore.

Many Thanks,
Äbstrict

Hi there,

I have a fatal error using the Envira Gallery either. I am in contact with the development team regarding this to get into the details.

Please kindly stay tuned for upcoming releases to fix the issue.

Thank you.
