Embedded videos no longer appear in my portfolio

I’m not sure when this changed happened, but I’m using Ess Grid to display my portfolio. Im getting the opps you blew up the internet instead of the embedded video. This is happening to all of my portfolio items now. Was there a change to how to embed video? My Media type was set to video. Featured Content was set to Media. the url is.

click on the first item in the portfolio and you’ll see what I mean.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Melvin,

Thanks for the details. I have checked your portfolio item and I am seeing this:

<iframe src=&quot;https://player.vimeo.com/video/291619723&quot; width=&quot;640&quot; height=&quot;360&quot; frameborder=&quot;0&quot; allow=&quot;autoplay; fullscreen&quot; allowfullscreen></iframe>

Please double check your video embed and make sure that the quotes are correct. It is supposed to be this way:

<iframe src="https://player.vimeo.com/video/291619723" width="640" height="360" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; fullscreen" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Please let us know if this works out for you.

Thanks so much for looking into this. In the Embedded Video Code box, that is what I have typed into the text field. I just copied and pasted the vimeo embed code.
They all worked in the past.
I’m seeing ("") on my end.

Glad to hear it’s sorted, Melvin.

The videos are still not appearing. What would cause the issues with the (&quot:)

Hi Melvin,

Would you mind providing wordpress admin access so we can see directly how the video embed is added? Please add it inside a secure notes. It can be because of curly quotes but seems unlikely.

I hope you had a good weekend. I was just curious if anyone has been able to log into the site and look at the embed code? Thanks again for your help.

Hey Melvin,

Sorry for the confusion here. This is a known bug with the current version. Please follow the suggestion mentioned in this similar thread: https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/x-v6-5-6-breaks-video-embeds-on-video-post-type/58551/4?u=christian_y

If the official fix would be available for this, we will mention it in our Changelog: https://theme.co/changelog

By the way, please provide complete access details next time including the WordPress login URL.

Hope that helps.
