Editing Button Conflict

I just had this problem pop up for a client. I have never seen this problem before on all of my sites with X Pro theme.

When in edit mode, anytime I try to change the “interaction” color of the “buttons” the entire site goes blank and I cant figure out why. In fact, when I try to edit anything for a button the entire page goes blank.

  • WordPress version 5.3.2

  • X Pro Theme Version: 3.1.2

This site is hosted on Flywheel and I flushed cache there too. The problem remains.

This is done. I added a secure note with the credentials.

Hi @drewmooredesign,

Thank you for the credentials, but it seems you hide your login page, both wp-admin and wp-login.php redirect to /not_found

In the meantime, please do testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

I deactivated all noncritical plugins and then slowly activated them. The culprit was Themeco’s TYPEKIT plugin. Not sure what the conflict is but when I deactivated it, I was able to adjust the color of buttons in the Themeco theme. I also did not see any settings for the Typekit plugin/extension.

You may want to look in to why Themeco’s typekit plugin/extension was not allowing me to edit the button color in the PRO theme.

  • Theme version = ProVersion: 3.1.2
  • Typekit version Version 2.0.3
