Documentation for V2 Elements

Hello,

I’m trying to find some documentation for the new V2 Elements, in particular the Text and Headline components, but can’t seem to find it anywhere. For whatever reason, they do not seem to be matching the same styles when implementing their ‘Classic’ counterparts.

My main concern:

  • When I add a V2 Text element it doesn’t appear to fill the entire width of it’s parent container unless I assign a Max Wdith of 100%. Is there a way to default this? Seems like a odd thing to not have defaulted.

  • Text (and headers) from V2 elements are not appearing with the styles that I had configured through the Typography settings when compared to their classic coutnerparts.

I have no cache plugin implemented on my site, yet. Browser has been cleared and tried different browsers from different PCs with all the same results.

Maybe this is all explained in documentation for the V2 Elements, but I can’t seem to find it anywhere.

My fault, I found the video collection within the Knowledge Base.

However, my issues with the elements still remain.

Hi @comdoc-marketing,

Thanks for writing in.

The solutions below are the common solutions that could fix your setup. Would you mind following the possible solutions below:

  1. Ensure everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list at https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-version-compatibility/195. Please follow the best practices when updating your theme and plugins. See https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-updating-your-themes-and-plugins/62 for more details.

  2. Clear all caches including browser cache then deactivate your caching plugins and other optimization plugins.

  3. If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.

  4. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

  5. Remove custom CSS, Javascript and templates.

  6. Reset your htaccess file by renaming it to .htaccess-bak. Then in WP Admin Menu, go to Settings > Permalinks and just click the Save Changes button.

  7. Contact your host to increase your allocated memory or do it yourself by adding this code in your wp-config.php

define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' );
define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M' );

If still not helping, in this case, please share us your admin credentials so we could check your setup closer.

Don’t forget to set it in a secure note.

Thanks.
