Do X extensions update when X updates?

Quick question. Searched the forum but couldn’t find an answer. Do X extensions update when X updates? Or do they need to be updated individually? Thanks

Thanks for writing in!

Extensions and Themes in WordPress are different modules. So, you will have to separately update plugins. I would also suggest you to take a look at our update guide for more information on updating X Theme and plugins:
