Disable parent menu items, but keep sub menu items

I have now made 2 sub-menus (dropdown) from my parent menu title ‘PROPERTIES’.

Is it possible to disable the link when hovering over ‘PROPERTIES’ (originally this took me to a Properties page), so it only allows the drop down menu (in this case ‘For Lease’ and ‘For Sale’)?

The purpose of this is to only be able to select either For Lease or For Sale sub buttons.

Please advise if more detail is required - many thanks!

Hey Greer,

You may add the parent menu items as custom links then set: javascript:void(0); in the URL field.
