Demo content not as expected

Good Morning,

I have attempted to upload demo contact for Ethos1 to a site www.campermac.com but it is not appearing as expected.

Can you please advise next steps?

Thanks for writing in.

I’ve taken a look at the site and it appears you’ve installed the Extended Demo called “Spa”. Let me know if you’d like me to overwrite this with Ethos 1.

Hi There,

It seems you change it to Ethos demo 2? If you still want the Ethos demo 1, import it and navigate to X > Launch > Options > Ethos and do the following.

First is the Post Carousel, nothing shows up because it was set to show the Featured post but there is no post that is set to be a featured so nothing shows up on the carousel (top most of the page). Try setting it to Random (https://prnt.sc/ft4i3p).

Second is Post Slider, same issue with Post Carousel; It is set to Featured. You can make your post a featured from the Ethos Post Settings (https://prnt.sc/ft4ipl). Or you can set it to random as well (Post Slider is located below the menu).

Third is the FILTERABLE INDEX option (https://prnt.sc/ft4jhz), if you enable this option and put an category ID that does not exist or has no post that associated to it, then no post will show up on your blog index page.

Keep in mind that Ethos demo 1 is a Blog index page, it will automatically populate your posts. So if you don’t have a post nothing will be populated.

I have followed your steps but the site still looks nothing like your template even with the demo data.

Hi There,

Sorry for the confusion. As mentioned in the demo content generation section;

Standard Demos only includes placeholder content for the home page along with example posts while Expanded Demos includes everything you see in the demo example sites. That is: all content, graphics, widgets, sliders, settings, and more.
