CSS and settings not having proper effect

I am working on redesigning a site, and the settings I apply just don’t seem to be having the normal effect. Buttons are unstyled, text shows as different sizes than preview, etc. When i am in the editor, everything is looking great, but when I load the actual page, its like something is not loading the proper CSS

Hello @drewweber,

Thanks for writing in!

Please try out following solutions and let us know the outcome:

  1. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third-party plugins, and see if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
  2. Increase the PHP Memory Limit of your server. Click here for more detailed information and how to increase the PHP memory limit.
  3. Please clear browser cache and server cache (if any) and test the case again.

If you still have problems kindly get back to us with the result of the steps above and URL/User/Pass of your WordPress dashboard using the Secure Note functionality of the post to follow up the case.

Thank you.

Thanks for the response. Just to confirm, I have tested it with no plugins, have cleared the browser cache and tried multiple browsers, and increased the PHP memory limit.

Some specific elements not working as I expect are on the home page, below the hero header.

Hi @drewweber,

Thank you for the credentials, the issue is on the Header CSS, please remove this back slash.

Hope it helps,
Cheers!

Awesome. I was pretty sure it was user error, I just couldn’t track it down. Many thanks.

You’re welcome!
We’re glad @friech were able to help you out.
