I’m trying to create a portfolio section.
Similar layout to: https://www.23digital.com.au/our-work/
The issue i’m having here is that theme x pro doesn’t seem to allow me to create a portfolio without the page set to portfolio. Is there a workaround?
Also, Is there any way to get an image overlay affect like on the above website?

Your sample site uses a similar grid plugin like the ones available or bundled in Pro. You can choose between The Grid and Essential Grid.
Overlay effects are also available in both plugins. I’d recommend you create a testing site to test them out and so you can decide what you’ll use in your live site. They’re similar plugins so it’s a matter of personal preference which one to use.
