Cornstone pages not showing in chrome

Hey there,

Here’s the error in that page.

If you don’t have a Google Map in that page, it’s most likely caused by UberMenu. In that case, please go to Appearance > UberMenu > General Settings and uncheck Load Google Maps API.

The other issue is loading of an insecure item. Please install a search and replace plugin and replace all http in the database with https including the serialized data. If you’re unsure how to do that, we do have an in-house custom development team that offer paid services, who may be able to assist. They can be contacted at pinnacle@theme.co if this is of interest to you. If you have any further questions about the theme, we are more than happy to provide you with assistance on these inquiries.

Thanks.

Hi,

thanks but unticking the google maps did not do anything. I am working on the replacing now then, Will this fix it or is this for something entirely different?

Hi There,

That will avoid a JS conflict.

Your page is loading on Chrome on my end.

Is the issue resolved for you?

Thank you

Not in my chrome, or my phone or incognito chrome

Also I keep getting this in the backend in certain woocomerce functions like reporting and settings. Screen just turns white with:

Fatal error: Call to a member function home_page_url() on null in /home/eurekawe/public_html/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone/includes/classes/admin/class-updates.php on line 135

Hi There,

I can see the issue. Would you mind trying to update X theme and plugins? See this link for the latest version:

See our changelog too for details:
https://theme.co/changelog/

Let us know how this goes.

This problem is still occurring. The cornerstone is rendering this page blank and other pages as well. PLease look into this.

Hi there,

It’s not blank, are you referring to the image? You should re-upload your image since it’s missing https://eurekawellness.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/autoimmune-support-400x400.jpg, or you can install force regenerate thumbnails plugin and regenerate your missing images. Just make sure your uploads folder are writable, else, it will fail.

Thanks!

Hi,

under the long discription there is a long product discription. I used cornerstone on this to display it. But it is not showing. Use unspector and you should see the wording. This is happening on products where i used cornerstone for the product descriptiion.

Thanks

It’s displaying on my end.

It should not look like that though. Something is causing the layout to break. Please check for the following:

  1. Ensure everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list at https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-version-compatibility/195. Please follow the best practices when updating your theme and plugins. See https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-updating-your-themes-and-plugins/62 for more details.

  2. Clear all caches including browser cache then deactivate your caching plugins and other optimization plugins.

  3. If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.

  4. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

  5. Remove custom CSS, Javascript and templates.

Thanks.

None of that worked. I did it all. And it still was not showing any text or layout under the product description

When i deactivate cornerstone it works.

When I activate x not with child theme it works.

Can you check my child theme and see what it wrong?

Hi there,

I can replicate that, and it happens when you scroll down. It’s because of the broken gallery image on top and the white element is covering the content. With too many custom templates in your child theme, I’m not really sure what’s causing it.

But you can confirm this issue by hiding the gallery

.woocommerce-product-gallery__wrapper {
display: none !important;
}

Please remove your child theme’s custom templates (related to woocommerce) one by one, then test each until you get the faulty one. You must do this without cache, else, you’ll not see the changes you’re making.

Thanks!

I added the css code and it did nothing. I deleted all content in childs stylesheet and function, still did nothing. I uninstall cornerstone and it works.

Hi there,

I can’t confirm if it’s working or not on your end since you already changed its content. But that CSS is not a fix, it’s just to show you that the white blank area is caused by that gallery on top. You can put them back and I’ll do a video recording., and if you wish to continue with this issue, please provide your FTP login credentials as well and you must put the content back again, including images. Right now, content is different and there is no image at all.

Thanks!

Hi, I fixed the issue by downloading the child theme anew and installing it. But it still not having the tabs like this screenshot for description, additional info and reviews. This screen shot is of it on X theme and not child.

Link for your convenience. https://eurekawellness.com.au/shop/detox/allery-formula/

No Cache is on and no CDN.

Hi there,

It’s due to Woocommerce templates in your child theme, looks like you directly copied them from Woocommerce plugin templates. Doing that will overwrite X’s woocommerce template in the parent theme.

Please disable/remove that woocommerce template folder.

Thanks!

HI,

I deleted thr template files and the tabs are there now. Thank you. But now the bad image or gallery is back. Just a sliver of the pic shows like before. I fixed this when I updated the child theme. But seems to have gone back after deleting the template.

Hi there,

I don’t see it working since the first time I checked it. And that’s because the image in that place doesn’t exist, example,

https://eurekawellness.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/autoimmune-support-400x400.jpg

its original image is this

https://eurekawellness.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/autoimmune-support.jpg

You’ll have to regenerate your image thumbnails again, please install force regenerate thumbnails plugin and generate them.

Thanks!
