Cornerstone very slow

Cornerstone keeps crashing and I’m losing my changes.

I’ve cleared my cache and tried raising my PHP MB
But wealthy affiliate who is my host doesn’t allow changes to PHP. What can I do to remedy this?

I just spoke to Wealthy affiliate support and they told me that their PHP MB is above 512.

So I’m assuming that isn’t the problem.

Hello Jamie,

Thanks for reaching out.

512mb of memory limit is sufficient enough to run Cornerstone. I checked the website and can see that you are running latest version of X Theme and Cornerstone. I suggest you to please try out following solutions and let us know the outcome:

  1. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third-party plugins, and see if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
  2. Remove custom CSS and Javascript from the options or Child Theme and test the case.

If you still have problems kindly get back to us with the result of the steps above and URL/User/Pass of your WordPress dashboard using the Secure Note functionality of the post to follow up the case.

Thank you.
